PC Amplifiers

The PC frequency amplifier was developed following a request from a friend who firmly believes in complimentary forms of healing. The Mark 1 version above, left was designed to operate off a CD player or a frequency generator with a minimum output of 1.0 Volt p/p. The main component is a LM 358 op amp which will simply amplify whatever input signal with the output controlled by a pot on the feedback loop. Supply voltage is 27 Volts (3x9V batteries).

Having to use either a CD player or a frequency generator became a hassle especially when excellent computer programs were being produced that would allow more flexibility such as Frex, RifeGen and others. The problem then arose that particularly Laptop computers would not produce a sufficient output signal that even when amplified by the frequency amplifier was enough to attain any noticeable benefit. It became clear that this low signal needed to be amplified first prior to entering the frequency amplifier. The addition of a LM 386N in the front end solved the problem. It was now possible to operate from signals as low as 0.11V p/p with 0.45V p/p the preferred input. To date we have not come across a laptop it will not work from. Hence Mark 2 was born. The picture above / right is Mark 3. It is basically the same as Mark 2 but has an additional pair of electrodes plus can operate from an external 24V DC supply.

Stick on pads are used by all units. Unfortunately, we have found that the sticky doesn't last that long. As for most applications we use the electrodes attached to the wrists over the radial artery we have found a small amount of Sorbalene rubbed on the pads then the electrodes affixed to the wrists by velcro works very well. The Sorbalene seems to be an excellent conductor.

All units have been tested over a wide range of minor ailments and have been very successful in curing migraine headaches (electrodes placed on top of the shoulder about half way between neck and shoulder), stomach problems (one electrode on wrist the other over offending organ), colds and flu, aches in joints, abscess under tooth, cold sores to name a few.

As the unit is able to amplify very small signals the output can be quite strong so users are advised to ensure the control is set to zero when beginning a session.
