Instructions Version 27th March 2005
We have tried to keep the operation of CHIamp as intuitive and straight forward as possible. In most operational modes, CHIamp is simply run, a program selected, and the Start button clicked.
However, as the design of CHIamp is rather open, any frequency range below 100Hz can be entered and run. (In other words, you have freedom to customise the range of frequency in a straight-forward way and are not locked in to a specific frequency that may not be working so well for you). We will discuss Custom Programming further below.
These instructions assume you have downloaded and installed CHIamp, and are able to run it and access the Tools menu.
New In This Upgrade 05.03.27
The list box to the right has become fully customisable, which allowed me to remove the drop down combo list box for custom entries. CHIamp version 05.03.27 allows for 200 entries in the list selection. The New, Edit and Delete buttons at the bottom of this disorder list box allow for manipulation of all the programs.
Evaluation tagging I use allows me to trial frequency ranges of disorders, and if they display signs of providing valued benefits, then I rank them accordingly as to the importance I place on their use. I use a three dot system to rank disorder and special function programs.
The chakra ranges have been calculated as the 5th octave down from middle c on the standard concert scale. The notes are C, D, E, F, G, A, B (these can be modified if required).
The Start Button
The hours, minutes and seconds that a program has been running appears in the LED box at the bottom left of the CHIamp program, just above the volume control.
Volume Settings
Usually, the volume setting will remain at 8, half volume, and you can adjust the volume to your tactile transducers via the knob on your amplifier. Wave form will suffer on volumes below 2 and above 13. This is more dependant on your sound card and is beyond CHIamp's control, so it will be safe to leave it at 8 unless you know the performance specification of your sound card.
Wave Type Selection
This feature was added, as I know many creative researchers and therapists may wish to experiment with CHIamp using other transmitters such as EM systems besides tactile transducers. For EM transmitters, any wave form can be used. Contact electrodes should be connected to battery operated amplifiers.
Day / Night Option
The 6pm to 6am feature has been hard-coded into CHIamps software to avoid adding extra options that may confuse some customers.
