Cambrone FDS - Square Mode

Square Mode will output conditioned square waves from 1Hz to 20,000Hz that are generated in FreX, CHIamp and any device capable of playing music through a headphone connection. The low frequency levels will depend on the audio/computers ability to generate spiked timings for FDS to turn into square waves. FDS will trigger square waves from a less than 5 mV signal to a 5 volt input signal providing full signal performance from the weakest signal.

500Hz, 30Vpp - AC. At this frequency and at full power, it was too uncomfortable for me to hold the electrodes. Actual displays of signals under load at lower amperage coming.

In Square Mode, FDS's Power control is used to vary the current to the signal.

10,000Hz, a popular and much used frequency. 30Vpp. This was enjoyable with dry hands at full power, I would not have wanted to wet my hands at 10kHz, full power. The signal didn't change.

20,000Hz FDS signal. The majority of FreX database frequencies resided under 10,000Hz, except for Dr Hulda Clarks sets, which can be rounded down to have effect under 20,000Hz. Wet hands were required for me to feel a signal in the body at 20kHz.

FreX's oscilloscope and spectrum display the 500Hz square wave. As you can see, the square top slants in the oscilloscope. This is a product of a capacitor on the input of all microphone connectors to protect the audio electronics from DC signals which could harm them.

500Hz is a good signal to use to calibrate the spectrum and oscilloscope display.
