Cambrone FDS - DC Mode

DC Mode in the Cambrone FDS is where the frequency wave form exists in the positive polarity. The microphone capacitor will turn this DC signal into an AC signal, so you wont see a DC signal in the FreX oscilloscope. All FDS output signals are converted to AC by the microphone.

In the above oscilloscope display, you see a 30Vpp DC square wave (positive off-set) signal. The bottom of the square wave is half a volt above the zero volt level, and the top of the square wave is at 30 volts.

Here we have a 29Vpp DC sine wave. This is an unusual signal in that I have not heard of it being used in frequency therapy before. As this signal was not too difficult to generate, we thought it a good idea to have it available for research and experimentation. You can output FreX's other audio wave forms in DC mode too, such as raw square waves, triangle waves, sawtooth positive and sawtooth negative wave forms, and white noise.

As with all signals in Audio Mode, FreX, or the computers volume is used to vary the amplitude (power) to the signal, NOT the FDS Power knob. This has been done as the ERS software requires control of the sine waves amplitude for scanning functions.

In DC Mode, using Audio sine/square/triangle/sawtooth waves, when you lower the volume control to reduce power, as the top of the signal reduces, the bottom of the signal increases it's off-set.
