FDS AUX Power

    When USB power is not available, then the FDS AUX Power system allows you to connect the FDS to various DC power sources.

    A socket is provided for a 9VDC to 12VDC, 500mA wall mount power pack. Center pin (+). Suits plasma transmitters

    A snap terminal connector is provided to allow for battery connection. A 9 VDC battery is not going to last long, may be a few hours. 8 AA batteries in series should provided 6 to 10 hours of use. 8 D Cell batteries will last a long time. Car lighters can used for mobile power sources. If you have an unused DC power pack, and the tip doesn't fit, simply snip of the tip, and expose the wires for use on the terminals. Caravans, boats, camping

    Polarity protection is provided. If you get the connectors the wrong way around, you can not damage anything. The FDS green light will simply not come on. Use the Green LED on the FDS to monitor active power to the FDS AUX Power system

    Included is an 8 AA Battery holder and a 9 volt battery snap.

    NOTE : Wall socket power pack is not included.
